International Education Services partnered with The Good Website Co. for a total transformation of their online business.
International Education Services is Ireland’s leading supplier of children's and adult books - serving schools, libraries, local authorities and government departments. Over a 15+ year partnership, we’ve spearheaded IES's business online, across three major website iterations - including two re-brands, and a huge custom-made eCommerce platform, packed with user facilities, client management functionality and multiple API integrations.
Our latest website developments marked a major leap forward for IES.
The clean, understated design gives little hint of the complexity beneath. At its core is a highly bespoke eCommerce system built around a continually updated database of 3.5 million titles, powered by a SOAP integration with Nielsen BookData and enhanced by advanced search functionality. The site features multiple shopping functions, including an ‘Accelerated Reader’ search feature that lets users filter by Book Level and Interest Level to easily identify suitable titles for individual children. For our client there is a comprehensive management system tailored for simplistic use. Most recently we developed a highly intricate solution consisting of 30 unique shopping baskets with multiple select functionalities for library clients and interconnecting data via API from third-party suppliers.
We also managed a massive data migration project, provide dedicated hosting and an email solution for the entire IES workforce, as well as continual support. The result is an evolving, highly functional system.
In The Good Website Co. we found partners who patiently worked with us to understand the meaning behind our business and to contextualize this by crafting authentic identities with our website and social media.
